In wake of the recent devastating earthquakes in Nepal, the New York climbing community has partnered with Wythe Hotel and charity organization Waves for Water to create an event to celebrate adventure and a climber’s relationship with the mountains, as a nod to the Himalayas, the highest mountain range in the world, and to provide much needed aid to the people of Nepal, with all proceeds from the event going to charity.

When: July 15, 2015 at 6:30pm
Where: Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn, New York

Live music by Home for Wayward Drummers at 9:30pm.

Silent Auction with all proceeds going directly to charity, will conclude at 10:30pm.

Tickets to the event are on sale through for $10 pre-sale and
$15 at the door. Donating at the event is strongly encouraged.

This event is made possible thanks to an array of generous sponsors including

Patagonia, AFAR Magazine, Revo, The New Yorker, The Cliffs Climbing Gym,
Brooklyn Boulders, and more. Surprise raffle gifts, silent auctions, and local
beverages will be provided by sponsors.

As climbers, we will always have a connection to Nepal. It is grounded in our history as a proving ground and playground for the legends of our sport. When Nepal is in need, we are compelled to showcase our love and support for the mountains by coming to the aid of the Nepali people. We created Climb on Nepal as a vehicle for charitable donation and to bring the worldwide climbing community together.
