NYC Project // Field Scout Men’s Clothing

Often I hear how difficult it is to find a beautiful casual men’s line that still has sophisticated tailoring.

It seems at times, men get the short end of the stick with options for dressing up. I do however feel that in the last few years that has gotten so much better and to be honest, I prefer to find my inspiration within a sort of darker Americana workers wear vibe.

I was lucky enough to work closely with Field Scout and their 2012 SS collection, and was so excited at the detail of each piece.  When I (a woman with a womanly body!) want to wear each piece, you know they’ve done something amazing!

The thing I love most about Field Scout is that Designer Ryan Hartman has a connection with each and every piece.  He sits there in his work room and wraps, stitches, cuts, hammers, and basically bleeds on each piece.  There is true craftsmanship and connection through and through.
