TAKE ME THERE // THE WORLD BODYPAINTING FESTIVAL

If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to instantly and seamlessly travel from one place to another.   No traffic, no lines at security, no screaming babies that make you want to bang your head against a wall and no jet lag – a wanderer’s paradise.

I could wake up at my home in sunny California, spend lunch in New York with one of my dearest friends (who recently abandoned the West coast for public transportation and the frigid cold – I’m still bitter about it), sip on tea at the Wellington in London and be at my father’s Southern dinner table by sundown. Freedom and excitement would reign supreme and a whole lot of money would be saved on transportation costs. Beyond being lucky enough to visit any friend or family member at the drop of a hat – I would have the delightful privilege of seeing every art exhibit that even slightly tickled my fancy.

First up on that list would be a visit to The World Bodypainting Festival in Pörtschach, Austria, which ran last week. Sure, I might also need to be able to go back in time to make this one work, but while I’m getting superpowers handed out… why not?
